The dogs were brought in to pick up Le's trail while Jonathan Widawsky, the Columbia University grad student she is scheduled to marry Sunday, was helping investigators in New Haven.
"He left Tuesday night, in a hurry," said Dory Kramer, his roommate in Morningside Heights. "He said, 'They don't know where Annie is, I better go.' He was distraught."
